sigh...

We are going to be doing another/a new IEP for Faith next week as the teachers have noticed she's "regressing"....her old aid (the super awesome one from last year) had to leave and they went through a few before they decided on a new one for her, which I think has a lot to do with the regression.  They stated that "she doesn't want to do anything." as far as school work goes.  I know whenever I used to go get her from school she would be giggling running up to me at the end of the day, now she generally just looks ticked off and is SOO ready to leave the building.  Hopefully with them sticking with this lady who is gonna be Faith's new aid and doing a VERY detailed (from my understanding) IEP that will help out.  We will see. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed that she's "regressing" or if I'm relieved that at least they're noticing what I've been noticing and taking steps to try and help.

On my running "journey"...I guess I've been doing it 3 weeks (getting close to a month). I learned that running shoes should last 400ish miles, should not have a "birthday"...meaning you should probably get new running shoes before a year is up and that "cotton is rotten" cotton socks are very bad to wear when running.  They asked me all kinds of questions, measured my feet sitting down, standing up, standing on one leg, had me test out shoes by jogging down the side walk and they also had me hop up on a treadmill and jog on it about fifteen seconds while they took some stop motion photos to see if I had some kind of an off balance.  It appeared I did not.  Only thing goin on with me was the incredibly flat feet.  Oh I also learned your running shoes should be 1/2 a size to a whole size bigger than your everyday shoes and the longer distances you run the bigger shoe you should get.  I learned tons of other stuff too. It was just pretty neat/informative and interesting.

Last night I took Angelus up to trunk-or-treat at one of the local Volunteer Fire departments. He had a great time.  His favorite parts were the cute little girl (a friend of his little sister about 2years old) handing out candy. He thought that was the cutest thing, and the Neufinland (clearly not spelled correct...ya know one of those massive dogs) dresses as Krypto (crypto?) and the owner being Superman.
